My girl Jolene. She’s spicy, spunky and plays favorites… it’s me, I’m her favorite. (Mandie) She gives serious side eye, will size you up and no amount of treats will convince her to do anything she doesn’t want to do. I mean she’s basically me in cow form and I love her so much! She is the only one we didn’t pregnancy check this weekend as she was not having it - not one bit. At one point, she started to come at me head lowered and I was like girl who do you think you are?!? Gave her a quick boop on the nose and she remembered. We ended with some ear scratches and all was well. It’s pretty safe to say she is pregnant since the others are all positive. She is British white perfection and I can’t wait to see her with a calf. #britishwhitebeef #britishwhitecattle

We, along with our animals, are working hard to build up our soil and ecosystem. When we take care of our animals and our land, they take care of us. Rotational grazing is imperative to this process. It builds soil biodiversity and structure, increases pasture drought resistance, sequesters carbon and prevents land erosion. While we’ve only had animals in our pasture for a year of rotation, we are already seeing massive shifts in the quality of this year’s grasses and the shift in our animals.
